Parisian electronic artist R-Wan teams up with Nigerian singer/producer Minz to re-engineer their respective sounds to create an afrodance fusion with new single ‘Trouble’ enriched with spectacular quality.
‘Trouble’ is a single that flexes R-Wan’s creative prowess by showcasing his versatility as an electronic artist who not only resides in the high-energy of club beats but who is comfortable immersing himself in the slower BPM sonics of afrobeat. ‘Trouble’ is one of the featured singles on R-Wan’s forthcoming debut artist album Genesys. The collaboration with Nigerian popstar Minz was an opportunity to explore a different genre which has been a feature in his DJ sets over the years.
A true trailblazer across the electronic music landscape, revered DJ & producer R-Wan has secured global recognition with releases that include ‘What The F*ck’ ft. Fatman Scoop, “Bottles Up’ with Big Ali x Busta Rhymes, ‘Turnt Up’ ft. Snoop Dogg and ‘High’ with DJ Chuckie. He has picked up numerous accolades during this time, such as DJ List’s ‘Best Open Format DJ’, multiple Top 10 spots on Beatport, and even earning a coveted place in the 2016 Top 100 DJs poll. Additionally, as a touring artist, he continues to travel DJing clubs and festivals from Asia to the USA, having played prestigious events like Tomorrowland, Dance Valley and Ultra Music Festival.
