Tell us about the plans for the new year.
I just started my new label ‘Artificial Recordings’. I will be focussing releasing tracks on it by myself and new upcoming artists like Onderkoffer and Mad Nation.
The touring life will not slow down. If it’s up to me I will do more gigs next year. I’m still a dj first.
Name one city you haven’t visited yet where you’d love to play
Rio de Janeiro
How will the music industry shift in the next 5 years?
All genres will stay the same only with other artists. The dj scene will change. People are getting smarter and now they are slowly seeing the difference between a real artist and a money grabbing dj who’s buying tracks to get famous.

One fan tatood my logo on his wrist. That was really amazing.
What do you do in Holland after touring?
Trying to do as much studio time possible. And visiting friends and family.
What are 3 things fans don’t know about you?
I play guitar
I used to be in a rock band
I performed at motor clubs with that band
You’re playing in India this month, first time- what can you tell us about it?
It’s going to be my 3rd time performing in India. The Sunburn festival is really amazing. I can’t wait to play for that immense crowd.
How do you like the Seattle scene?
I really don’t know much about it yet. But I will discover it this week!!
