‘FULFILLMENT’ IS THE CONVERGENCE OF FERRY CORSTEN & MARSH ON THEIR DEBUT COLLABORATION

Electronic luminary Ferry Corsten and championed emerging star Marsh blur the lines of nostalgic 90s trance and contemporary progressive house, resulting in new club groover ‘Fulfillment.’

A euphoria-inducing dance composition that feels endearingly familiar, timeless, and classic, yet reflective and forward-driving of the here and now, ‘Fulfillment’ is found in Ferry Corsten’s forthcoming 2024 art form, Connect on Flashover Recordings. 

In a live setting, ‘Fulfillment’ transcends to an even higher power. Marsh’s foundational trance-esque melody soars above a tight rolling bassline and intense drum build laid down by Corsten, and electrifying drops capture sacred connectivity on the dancefloor. As proven already by elated crowd reactions on the party circuit from Amsterdam Dance Event to Fabric London.

Over the years, Dutchman Ferry Corsten has made no secret of his musical curiosity and shapeshifting capabilities under numerous genre-spanning aliases, from his inaugural System F to the atmospheric moniker FERR. His knack for sourcing new talents and ahead-of-the-curve sounds has held his rank in the Top100DJs poll since 1999 and counting as he remains transfixed on the future possibilities of dance music. 

A breakthrough under Anjunadeep, Marsh’s personable approach to melodic and progressive house has firmed him as one of the most desired DJs/producers. 2020 album Lailonie  was the catalyst, presenting the track ‘Come Together’, heralded as a modern classic. Soon followed by his storytelling masterpiece and third album Endless, which drew on his love of early 00s trance and rolled out an extensive album tour across North & South America, Europe and Asia with countless sold-out shows. Marsh has also secured signings with high-profile labels Spectrum, Last Night On Earth and Franky Wah’s SHÈN.

The collaboration of Ferry Corsten and Marsh is a testament to their respective dynamism in the studio. For Corsten, it is an exciting opportunity to reignite the sound he helped pioneer in a fresh, visionary take. For Marsh, a full circle moment is creating and releasing alongside one of his scene heroes that he himself says “would have fourteen-year-old Marsh running laps of the house”.
