As an artist and DJ, this talented Finnish musician has been making a significant impact with his energetic performances and groovy sounds for over 20 years. Deeply rooted in trance music, Alex Kunnari has seen his global dance hits featured on BBC Radio 1 by Judge Jules. His track “Heart Will Follow,” featuring London Thor, earned over 3 million Spotify streams and received praise from A State Of Trance and Armada Music in 2019. Known for creating rhythmic, dance-friendly sounds that resonate with club audiences, Alex has performed over 300 times in Ibiza at renowned venues like Amnesia, Eden, and Pacha. He was also part of Privilege, invited to play by Tiësto, and held residencies at Space and Colors Ibiza. Additionally, Alex founded Finland’s Summer Sound Festival, which has drawn thousands since 2012 and featured top DJs like Tiësto, Armin van Buuren and Hardwell.

While he has produced music under aliases like AK and Modulation, taking the path through various genres and sonic landscapes, trance has always been at the heart of his musical identity. It was within this genre that he discovered his passion for electronic music and honed his skills as a producer and performer.

But his fascinating journey has just started. Alex Kunnari has finally decided to release his debut album, “Statement,” a project he has been passionately working on for years. This album represents a true labor of love and the culmination of his long-standing dedication to the trance genre, as Alex likes to describe it.

“Statement” stands out not only for its innovative production and expert arrangements but also for its impressive roster of vocalists, some of the most sought-after in today’s trance music scene. These talented artists include Bo Bruce, Christian Burns, Jennifer Rene, Christina Novelli, Eric Lumiere, Evan Henzi, Mike Schmid, and Julia Ross, all of them known for their emotive voice, dynamic vocal range and powerful delivery that have graced many trance hits you all know very well.

The melodies are designed to evoke a wide range of feelings, while the lyrics speak to universal themes of love and hope. 

The singles from this album have been featured exclusively on A State of Trance (ASOT), hosted by Armin van Buuren and Ruben de Ronde. A special 60-minute set was dedicated to showcasing the album and highlighting Alex’s unique sound.
