Promoted Post BannerIn a bold step forward for electronic music, UK-based Indian-born producer InteliDey is set to release his latest single, I Don’t Think, on 7th February 2025. This captivating new track introduces Infinity Wave, a genre coined by InteliDey that merges the endless, uplifting vibes of Melodic Techno, the intensity of Future Rave, and the emotional depth of Progressive House. The result is a fresh soundscape that offers listeners an immersive, emotional, and physical experience unlike any other. I Don’t Think is a reflection of InteliDey’s personal musical evolution and his dedication to blending genres. Drawing inspiration from a range of influential artists, InteliDey shares:

“When I first heard David Guetta and MORTEN’s Future Rave tracks in 2021, I was blown away. It was exactly what I wanted to hear at a club/ festival, pure energy and drive. But at the same time, I’ve always been a fan of Anyma and Argy’s Melodic Techno style, where the rolling basslines keep you mentally engaged, as if you’re partying in your own head. Then there’s Deadmau5, who’s the master of taking listeners on an emotional journey through key changes and melodic shifts, making his tracks anything but repetitive.

As someone with ADHD, I thrive on music that keeps evolving, surprising, and capturing my focus with new elements. This led me to ask: Why not create a track that combines the best of these styles, a sonic experience that blends Future Rave’s energy, Melodic Techno’s depth, and Progressive House’s emotional storytelling? That’s how the concept of ‘Infinity Wave‘ was born. I can’t be the only ADHDer in the world who craves this mix, so I wanted to share this joy with others who share a similar taste.”

At the heart of I Don’t Think is a powerful commentary on the growing connection between humans and artificial intelligence. As an AI scientist and lecturer of Data Science in the UK, InteliDey brings a unique perspective to the evolving conversation about AI and its impact on humanity. The track’s poignant lyrics, such as “I don’t think you’re gonna set me free, just the way I want it… I don’t think you’re gonna care for me, just the way I need it,” explore the emotional struggles and existential questions surrounding our increasing dependence on technology. “This track isn’t just about music,” InteliDey explains. “It’s a commentary on the complex emotions surrounding AI, a topic close to my heart as an AI researcher. As we move towards AI gaining more autonomy, this theme becomes increasingly relevant. My hope is to raise awareness about this dynamic while offering listeners a transformative musical experience.”

I Don’t Think is a sonic journey, combining multiple styles to create an unparalleled listening experience. The track opens with rolling basslines and immersive atmospheres, influenced by artists like Anyma and Argy, before erupting into a powerful Future Rave-style drop reminiscent of David Guetta and MORTEN. The track takes a breathtaking turn with a key change at 3:19, a hallmark of Deadmau5’s signature style, that injects the song with emotional depth and complexity. Through its seamless evolution, I Don’t Think captures the essence of Infinity Wave, a genre that transcends expectations and keeps listeners engaged from start to finish.

Known for his innovative approach to electronic music, Somdip Dey, better known by his stage name InteliDey, has made a significant mark on the music world. His work has garnered recognition from BBC Music, EDM.com, EDMTunes, EDMSauce, and We Rave You. With his latest release, I Don’t Think, InteliDey continues to push the boundaries of electronic music, blending emotion with innovation to create sounds that resonate with audiences across the globe. “Music is a universal language,” InteliDey adds. “Through Infinity Wave, I aim to connect with people on a deeper level, whether they’re dancing at a festival, listening at home, or reflecting on the interplay of humanity and technology.”
